NUS Executive MBA Sustainability Module

NUS Executive MBA Sustainability Module

The National University of Singapore (NUS) asked Gnarly Tree Sustainability Institute to develop and deliver a sustainability module for the Asia Pacific Executive MBA Programme. Principal Associate Kenneth Richards developed and taught a two-day module in Singapore during the 2014/2015 program. Based on the success of that inaugural offering, Dr. Richards was asked to return for the 2015/2016, 2017/2018, and 2018/2019 modules, which were taught in Australia and expanded to four- or five-day training sessions. This sustainability course covered topics including the business case for sustainability, drivers of sustainability, stakeholder engagement, sustainability metrics, incorporating sustainability issues into business planning, sustainability goal establishment, and communicating sustainability practices.
